Data Deletion

You can delete your Pebble & Petal account and the data we hold for you at any time. Two paths are available.

Delete from inside the app

The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the app on the device you are signed in on:

  1. Open Pebble & Petal.
  2. Tap Settings → Account → Delete account.
  3. Confirm by typing DELETE in the confirmation field.

The app will sign you out, clear your data from your device, and remove your data from our servers.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request account and data deletion by email:

  • Email: privacy@pebbleandpetal.com
  • Subject line: Data deletion request.
  • Include the email address associated with your Pebble & Petal account. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity before processing the request.

What gets deleted

  • Your account profile and authentication records.
  • Care logs you created (feeds, diapers, sleep, growth, medicine, vaccinations, teething, activity logs).
  • Milestones, notes, diary entries, voice memos.
  • Photos and media you attached to your account.
  • Notification preferences and push tokens.
  • Household membership records you created.

What we keep, and for how long

After account deletion, we may retain limited information for the purposes described below. These records do not allow us to reconstruct your account.

  • Anonymized analytics: aggregated usage data with no personal identifiers, retained for up to 24 months.
  • Subscription and transaction records: retained as required by Apple, Google, and applicable tax and finance law.
  • Limited backup retention: our backups roll over on a schedule; deleted records are removed from backups within a reasonable period.
  • Legal compliance: records we are required to retain by law (for example, fraud investigation, regulatory requests).

Caregivers and shared households

If you invited caregivers to share access to a baby’s data, deleting your account removes your access to that data. Records you contributed remain available to the remaining household members until the primary account holder for the baby deletes the baby profile or their own account.

Subscriptions

Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active subscription billed by Apple or Google. To cancel a subscription, manage it directly through your platform store:

  • iOS: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
  • Android: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
